"Five products, one new visual direction."
Bebo Objects wanted to shift their visual identity toward something bolder and more unconventional, and brought us on to produce a showcase spanning five furniture pieces, an animation, and a set of images. One of the five was the Exxo chair, a new addition to their lineup being showcased for the first time. With a desire for something more daring than their existing work, the client provided references and direction, and we developed a series of moodboards before committing to a visual style through a feedback round with the client.
From there, the focus moved to material detail across five very different products. Brushed steel, polished aluminium, powder coated surfaces, perforated metal, and dark polyester fabric each needed their own treatment to feel convincing up close, and the closeup detail shots became as important as the wider hero renders. Each product had a distinct character, and maintaining that whilst pushing toward a unified bolder aesthetic was the core creative challenge of the project.
The animations were conceived as cinematic sequences, built around atmosphere and feeling rather than technical detail, closer to a brand film than a product walkthrough. Delivering all of this across five products within three weeks was a demanding turnaround that required tight coordination between the two of us working on the project.
The content performed well on both social media and the Bebo Objects website, and the Exxo chair was successfully introduced to their audience through the project.
